The Waves WSG-Y16 V2 I/O card for Yamaha digital consoles integrates Waves plugins running on the SoundGrid platform. Now, live sound engineers can access Waves’ award-winning plugins with ultra-low latency, do multitrack recording and playback, and even sync multiple consoles.

With a SoundGrid DSP server and Mac or PC, the Waves WSG-Y16 V2 card can process 16 channels using world-class software EQs, compressors, reverbs, and more—right from your Yamaha console.

  • High-speed network platform for processing, playback, recording
  • Compatible with standard computers and network switches
  • Ultra-low latency at all supported sample rates (44.1 to 96 kHz)
  • Connects to SoundGrid systems and SoundGrid-compatible devices
  • 16 I/O audio channels at 44.1/48 kHz, 8 I/O channels at 88.2/96 kHz
  • Record/play back with ASIO/Core Audio using SoundGrid Studio app
  • Clock Sync over Ethernet (SoE) for digital splits and audio networking
  • MIDI input port and MIDI control from consoles
  • Works with all consoles installed with the WSG-Y16 V1 card
  • Comprehensive redundancy and recovery options
  • Sync multiple consoles together using SoE
  • Add up to four cards for 64/32-channel processing and recording
