Waves V-Comp

Overview

Waves V-Comp is an analog-modeled compressor and limiter based on the classic 2254 diode-bridge bus processor. Its transformer modeling and analog saturation add weight, depth, and character while providing straightforward dynamics control for individual tracks, buses, and complete mixes.

V-Comp can deliver smooth compression for vocals and instruments or stronger control for drums, bass, and mix buses. Its analog character can also be used independently of compression to add subtle harmonic color to digital recordings.
