Waves CR8 Creative Sampler

Waves CR8 Creative Sampler – Fast, Creative Sampling & Sound Design

Waves CR8 Creative Sampler puts powerful sampling and sound-design tools into an intuitive, fast-moving workflow. Drop in virtually any sound and turn it into a playable instrument, then stretch, loop, reverse, freeze, layer, modulate, and shape it into something completely new.

CR8 lets you stack up to 8 sample layers, making it easy to build complex instruments, layered textures, drum sounds, basses, pads, vocal effects, and rhythmic parts. Five dedicated stretching algorithms—Voice, Beats, Melodic, Harmonic, and Classic—let you choose the approach that best suits the source material.

For deeper sound design, CR8 provides drag-and-drop LFO and ADSR modulation, 25 LFO waveforms, 25 stepped sequences, four ADSR envelopes, unison, filters, pitch and speed controls, reverse playback, looping, freeze, and host synchronization. Key and BPM detection help samples fit naturally into your session.

CR8 also integrates with Waves COSMOS Sample Finder, giving you fast access to your sample collection directly within the creative workflow. It includes more than 2,500 royalty-free samples and 800 creative presets covering instruments, beats, basses, pads, effects, and more.
