Sontronics STC-3X Pack-Behind the Grille
The British-designed STC-3X microphone is a multi-pattern condenser featuring the three most commonly used polar patterns-cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-of-eight. These are selectable via a simple switch on the rear of the mic. In figure-eight mode, the STC-3X lets you pick up room ambience without setting up an additional mic-perfect for ensemble miking, stringed instruments, for face-to-face harmony vocals or rapping, cross-table interview, and also for X-Y or mid-side stereo miking applications.
