Augspurger® TREO 1015-V
3-way active design featuring mirror-imaged MDF cabinets housing an 8” low/mid driver, a 4” 99.98% pure beryllium HF compression driver on our rock maple MF “Mid Focus” horn and a 12” integrated and isolated subwoofer, mounted on a 1.5” thick MDF front baffle.
Our engineers sought to bridge the TREO Series with our Tower Monolith series and came up with the remarkably impressive Treo 1015-V system. This larger Treo system mates a new 15” sub driver with a high-power handling, high sensitivity midrange driver that provides beautifully focused detail, and allows for either our MidFocus MF horn for use in more intimate settings or our full-size “Far Focus” FF horn for longer listening distances.
The custom 10” low/mid driver is perfectly matched to the legendary full-sized (or Mid-Focus MF) rock maple horn using a beryllium diaphragm. The result is a detailed and high-impact soundstage which delivers a natural and musical listening experience with LF extension to 20 Hz.
The Treo 1015-V 3-way full-range active monitor breaks new ground for quality audio reproduction in both audiophile playback and mastering reference stings or for personal or corporate theater environments. The vertically oriented cabinet provides the extraordinary power and detail every Augspurger system is known for, fitted in a wonderfully elegant cabinet format that offers an efficient integration into the listening environment with minimal footprint.
As compared to the Treo 812 system, the larger driver complement of the Treo 1015-V and 3700W/Chl. Class D amps provide superbly balanced sonic precision with extended low frequency extension and dynamic power at higher listening levels and longer distances. The Augspurger Treo 1015-V monitor systems are designed for intimate and mid-sized working and listening spaces where accuracy and dynamics are required, and larger environments as distributed audio or surround theatrical applications. By incorporating our unique CIC (cab-in-cab) technology we are able to seamlessly integrate our 15” sub-bass cabinet into the main system. This active 3-way arrangement perfectly time- aligns all frequencies and delivers a high-impact listening experience with subtle mix details clearly revealed, all from a surprisingly compact floor-standing enclosure.
Sporting in-room frequency response of 20 Hz - 20 kHz and output of 127 dB SPL, Augspurger continues to establish a new market standard in powerful, full-range personal monitoring.
