That's how engineers are describing the TEC-Nominated Augspurger Solo 12MF. Using our MF (MidFocus) horn - 30% smaller than the classic Augspurger horn - we've developed a true compact main monitor that can fit in almost any room, and in almost any budget.
Set the Solo 12MF-SUB18 system up on a pair of stands in a zone where a closer, tighter placement location to the mix position is required. Be prepared to be blown away with astonishing clarity, velocity, and enough low end to make jaws drop. Like all Augspurger active systems, the Solo 12MF lets you precision-tune the monitors to any room. Offering over 3500W/Chl, there will be plenty of headroom to get the grooves rocking.
The Solo 12MF is a true main monitor in the size of a midfield, expertly hand-crafted in the USA.
(2) Two-way main monitor cabinets loaded with a single 12” LF driver and one 4'' high compression driver with 99.5% pure beryllium diaphragm on an Augspurger-designed solid maple MF (MidFocus) horn.
(2) SUB18 subwoofer cabinets with one 18" sub driver each.
(2) SXE-3D three-way Class D networkable amplifiers (2500W for LF, 1000W for MF & 300W for HF), with Active DSP providing crossover, limiting, driver alignment and system equalization & amp; DSPtune control software (Mac or PC), 2U rack mounted. (Note: 20 amp circuit required for each amp.)
