The award winning, ADAM Audio T7V is a high-performance home and studio monitor, with great low-end and an exceptionally wide sweet spot that comes at an extremely affordable price point.
Intricately designed to be long lasting and professional sounding, the two-way nearfield monitor is equipped with ADAM Audio’s U-ART accelerated ribbon tweeter, and calibrated using the High Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide, giving it the utmost of clarity. It is this custom-made technology that can also be found in ADAM’s flagship S Series studio monitors, that gives the monitors an extended high-frequency response of up to 25 kHz, which is unheard of at this price range.
The T7V also comes with new DSP technology and is powered with two D-Class amplifiers, one that controls the subwoofer at 50 watts, and the other the tweeter at 20 watts, producing SPLs of up to 110 dB SPL per pair. It’s these detailed features, along with the U-ART tweeter that give the T7V such low frequencies and unprecedented detail.
On the rear side of the T7V, a rear-firing bass reflex port is responsible for giving the speaker its ultra-smooth, highly accurate midrange and extended bass response. Here on the back you can also find an input selector for desired sensitivity, and additional XLR and RCA inputs.
When compared to the ADAM Audio T5V, the T7V’s larger 7" polypropylene woofer really sets the two monitors apart. Along with having a higher SPL of 110 dB, the larger woofer gives the T7V a much larger audio-impact. Adding to that the larger cabinet, standing 347 mm tall, the T7V is very much the larger brother to its T5V counterpart. Should you need more bottom end, the T5V is compatible with the ADAM Audio T10S subwoofer.
With its simple elegant design, and compact size, the ADAM Audio T7V is a perfect fit for when space is a consideration, without having to make a compromise on professional sound. The T7V is a no gimmicks monitor, with the highest of audio reproduction qualities, and an extremely entry-level price.
The ADAM Audio T10S is a powerful yet compact active subwoofer, with a particularly attractive price/performance ratio, designed for extending the bass range of smaller and medium nearfield monitors. Its dimensions make the T10S especially useful for home studio and semi-professional use. The subwoofer’s performance, features and connectivity are engineered specifically to complement ADAM Audio’s T5V and T7V speakers.
Equipped with a downward-firing 10˝ woofer, ample sized bass reflex port, and commanding 130 watt Class-D amplifier, the T10S’ frequency response ranges from 28 Hz to 120 Hz and offers an impressive maximum sound pressure level of 104 dB.
An adjustable low-pass filter for matching to satellites, automatic or manual on/off, and four acoustically decoupling rubber feet complete the T10S's features. The qualities of the T10S subwoofer have found favor in numerous tests by the international trade press.
