It is a 60 channel inline console, giving you 120 inputs at mix. 24 bus, 4 band fully parametric Equalizer with sweepable frequency and bandwidth, shelf or bell on high & low bands, HPF and sweepable LPF, and Dynamics on each channel, 8 Aux sends, 4 mono and 2 stereo aux returns, 2 stereo mix busses, onboard spectrum analyzer. Integrated Right hand patch bay.

The Virtuoso was one of the Post-Mitsubishi consoles, and was built when the factory was located in Santa Clarita, Ca in the late 80,s.
It was well designed and in fact luminaries such as John Hall were contributors during its design and construction.
The Virtuoso is aimed at the music recording/mixing market and shared much of its design with the Music, Film and TV post consoles built at Quad Eight during the same time period. (Westar, Filmstar, Screenstar)

Many hits have been tracked and mixed on Quad Eight consoles. Look at albums recorded during the 70,s and 80,s at studios like Shangrila Ranch, Village recorders, Motown West and many others where custom QE recording/mixing desks were installed.
Hits by Steely Dan, The Band, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Countless Motown hits, Stevie Wonder, etc.
