It is capable of providing accurate low-distortion monitoring at all power levels, maintaining exceptional quality under all drive conditions and delivering the highest dynamic range. All the drive units in this four way system have been especially developed with exactly matching characteristics to provide a perfectly integrated sound source.
The bass section consists of four massive 300mm low distortion drivers, each of which has a ferro-fluid cooled 100mm diameter aluminium hexagonal section coil (hexacoil) with an internal vented long- throw magnet system all housed in a low reflecting cast chassis. The mid-range section consists of two ultra high quality 170mm piston drive units each incorporating a massive 75mm diameter aluminium hexacoil, neodymium magnet, and low reflection chassis. The upper mid-range driver is the superb ESOTAR M560 incorporating a 54mm diameter hexacoil coupled to the critically-doped fabric dome ensuring low distortion and excellent transient response.
The HF unit is the high powered version of the ESOTAR T330 designed to reproduce stunning distortion-free transients of up to 1000 watts. Both of the Esotar drivers are custom made by Dynaudio for Munro Associates and utilise massive double magnet systems for improved performance. This listing is for one pair of monitors, including all drivers. It also includes 3 Chord SPA-1032 Power amplifiers, and one BSS FDS-336T Loudspeaker Management Processor, for a complete main monitor system.
