The Antelope Audio Verge is a small-diaphragm condenser mic that models six of the world’s most highly regarded pencil condensers used on classic recordings for decades.

Antelope Verge accomplishes this remarkable feat with FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) technology, which easily breaks the 500MHz performance barrier with unprecedented logic-density increases, and numerous other features. In the hands of a master programmer, such as Antelope’s Igor Levin, the first to achieve 32-channel, 24-bit/192kHz audio transmission via USB on any generic PC (96kHz Mac), Antelope’s custom FPGA boasts eight times the DSP processing speed of ASICs used in similar devices. This allows fast and easy simultaneous processing of multiple effects, better sound quality, and much lower latency. Antelope’s FPGA effects bring audio realism to a new level.
